Activation, (to my understanding) depends on the material you are trying to activate, as well as your prior knowledge on the subject.

If, for example, you've got a history with a subject activation will be quicker (in my experience).

If, you've never dealt with a subject before it might take longer to activate and gel.

The more complex the concepts the longer it can take as well. It's best to activate in small chunks (as well as the rest of the steps).

It can take anywhere from 12-16 hours to learn and understand the activation techniques in the self-study course.

You'll have a really good handle on it after you PhotoRead and fully activate (multiple 30-minute passes) 7-10 books.

Dana!

Can you please be more spesific about how many 30 minutes sessions?
Lets say I have school book (university) 300 pages That I need to learn.
Is it ok that I use 10 - 15 30 min sessions?

When should I go over to just speed reading?

I feel that I don`t save any time when I have to use so many 30 minute sessions.

And I do not get to the point when it all gels.
But I learn the stuff that I dipp into!

The Activation session seem to be a big problem for many photoreaders. So can we please get a good discussion about it. And get more detailed guidens?

Thanks

illusion,

Try PhotoReading the book and mindmapping the lectures. That works great for me. So far only one grade below 90 . PR system ROX!
