Does anyone know what brain waves are primed with PR? Through its stages?

It doesn't really matter. If you use the steps you'll be reaching the appropiate brain wave level that is right for you. On the whole an alpha level is achieved when you follow the proceedure. This can be closer to beta or closer to theta... depending on the individual... it still works when you are in a low beta since some people function at even higher beta levels than others. The mind knows best what brainwaves need to be there for 'you' to perform various skills. So trust the steps and keep training your mind for the reaction you want.

However I am going to guess that perhaps you wish to help yourself along intially by using Binaural beats... or a light and sound device. So the following information might be useful.

Relax Alpha - 5-10Hz
Meditation - 4-7Hz you can either cycle or stay steady at one level Theta
Induce Sleep - 4-6hz to start cycle down to 3.5hz then settle on 1.5-2.5hz
Creative visualisation - start 6hz then up to 10hz
Stress relief - any below 11Hz
Self Hypnosis - 8-10Hz along with hypno tape
Superlearning - 7-9Hz listen while studying
Subconscious Programing - 5-7Hz
ESP/Intuition enhancement - 4-7Hz
Quick refresher - 8-10Hz

Different folks have different ranges so these are approximate.
Alpha 8-13hz most suitable for learning and most steady
Beta 13+ hz outward consciousness
Theta 4-7hz Self healing
Delta below 4hz

While at any level one type of brainwave pattern will dominate but the others peak in and out regularly for split second or so.

People who deliberately relax, to learn, to meditate to or to wind down, tend to show more spontaneous burst of alpha thoughout their day... gives them an edge over others who do most of their thinking in the beta outward conscious brainwave.

It would seem that if you learn the skills applied to photoreading you gain a creative edge that can have helpful benefits in other areas of your life.

This is my findings on the topic.
Hope it was along the lines of information you were looking for.

Alex

PS if you use a Light and Sound device and want to use it for help with learning to Photoread the following site might interest you.

NB you do not need any tools to help you to photoread if you can let yourself trust the process.
