I've just got the book but I've got a question about starting it.
Do I have to follow steps on 1st page?
or just read it page by page?
which is better?

Marcus - no, you don't have to follow the directions on the first page. I think, however, it is worth the effort to give it a try as it introduces (by example) some important concepts....to be further exposed to you by reading the book.

If you follow the steps, you'll have a level of understanding after 25 minutes, an increased level after another 30, and full understanding after an additional 60 minutes. How long would it take you to achieve the same levels of understanding with your current learning/reading methods?

Cheers - CS

Very thx for answering my question .
In fact, I'm a beginner of speed reading before I got the book.

I did follow the steps on the first page it was a great way to demonstrate just how much you can get out of a book without reading the whole book. Considering that Paul demonstrates this with his own book and it is really an instructional text. (one of those where we feel every word is important). It was eye opening how much time is wasted reading the filler in most books.

Having done that I found photoreading working for me rapidly.
