Would paraliminal tapes were played on my stereo or on my computer speakers, would they still have any positive effect. I find earphone uncomfortable/.

Absolutely. A surprisingly high number of people listen to Paraliminal Tapes using speakers. I know of people who purchased a boombox for the bedroom so both partners could listen to tapes at the same time without having to deal with headphones.

My roommates use a double headphone jack, so they can both listen with headphones at the same time.

This may be useful for those who do like headphones.

I noticed paraliminals are not truely stereo anyway. When both voices are speaking simultaneously, both voices can be heard in both earphones. Is that what it is meant to do or is there something wrong with my walkamn.

If I turn down the volume of one side, on the other side I still can hear both voices, but in different volumes.

They are truly stereo, but in order to get the spatial effects with the voices there needs to be cross-over. This has also been benefit for people who are deaf in one ear, which is a surprisingly high number.
