Over the past couple of years I've noticed some weird memory recall in relation to dreams. Just about every day, at some random point in the day I'll suddenly remember quite vividly a dream I had years and years ago. It seems like these sudden rememberings have absolutely no relation to what I was thinking or doing at the time.

Does anyone else have this strange kind of recollection. Or better still, does anyone know why this might happen? Is it just random neurons firing in my brain?

Cheers for any feedback.

The mind is a firecracker, sparking and popping and bubbling. Then again does it really disturb you? If it does then I recommend several doses of hard liquor every day, to eliminate all thoughts and memories permanently.

Actually, the subconcious mind is constantly recording more than what your concious mind is focusing on. Perhaps an image set off a chain of mental events relating to different memories, yet only certain thoughts reached your concious mind. Just a guess you can play with.
