Here is my list for PRers to read:

1) Roads to Knowledge (general description of fields of the workforce)

2) Principles of Math by Newton

3) Feynman's lecture series vol 1,2,3.

4) Feynman's Bio "Genius"

Genius talks about him using subconcious thought to derive calc equations and solve problems, there is your proof of other than concious mind at work. :P

That's about it

Feynman is a good read for math or physics. The true test of understanding, is to see whether you can explain to the uninitiated, and Feynman passes beautifully.

If # 2 is Sir Issac Newton Principia books, then I'd say no.

The ranking isn't in order.

Just a random listing

I'll also recommend "Calculus" by Tom Apostol

Reference book, I have no idea how anyone can start off on that one. Good book though, VERY costy. Like around $300 for volume I+II
