I would like to wish y'all a belated "Dominion Day".
Michael and Iam2:
I read in the U.S. Paper that in Minnesota, the Canadian nationals living in MN, puts on a celebration every year.
Question: Is it celebrated with fireworks as the 4 of July is?

Not related to holiday, just wondering:
What is the difference between Ham and Canadian Bacon?

Working backwards:

Canadian Bacon is back bacon. It's a very lean cut. Almost all meat.

It is celebrated just like Independence Day: Holiday, Fire works and partying.

It's normally called Canada Day instead of Dominion Day.

Now I think we should get together and setup the Good Nieghbours Period, where both of our countries would have a holiday from Canada Day until Independence Day. July 1'st through to July 4'th. Now we are talking a serious long weekend. Now with a holiday like that I think you'll get some serious good will and bi-national understanding.
