Hi,

Has anyone created some sort of PR checklist to guide you through the various steps of the process? I am working on one for my personal use by taking bits and pieces and putting them together into some kind of checklist, so I don't forget any of the steps. (like remembering to affirm etc.)

Has anyone done this before? Is it a good idea? Your comments or suggestions on this are appreciated.

Thank You,
Bhavani

I have three here; they're still up for revision but here they are. Choose one of the 3 ways i've shown below; i've separated them with lines. Whatever you do don't analytical read the rest of my post to the end! There's a lot of repetition across the strategies and your eyes will glaze over lol Go directly to the section you want and it'll all be there.

PR step with Manual Activations

Photoreading
purpose
:: say exactly what you want from the text in one short sentence.
:: will this be a single read or syntopic?
:: estimate your activations (eg. 6 activations x 0:45:00 minutes @ activation = 4:30:00 hours)
prepare
:: drink water
:: tangerine technique or widening peripheral field
:: reaffirm your purpose
preview (<5 minute @ book)
:: survey covers/flaps, table of contents, index.
:: underline toc and index keywords
photoread
:: prime the book's spine
:: don plastic thumbs

:: rhythmic pageturn and chant
:: close with mastery
postview (<5 minutes @ book)
:: mmap toc/index keywords
:: choose text sections to activate first
:: ALS countout (1-5)
mindprobe
:: review underlined keywords and mmap
:: activate this text, or stop? decide now. if you'll stop, put the text away. if you'll continue, reestimate your total activation time (eg. only 4 activations now x 0:45:00 = 3:00:00).
evening/nighttime incubation (incomplete)
:: leave the text for a day (recommended).
:: memory supercharger
:: image stream or lucid dream

rest (10 minutes)
:: ALS countout (1-5)
:: edu-k crosscrawl
mindprobe (5 minutes)

Why not use the checklist that is in the book? Page 146 - 148

The mind map on page 68 is also useful. Tells you what you need to do at each step at a glance.
