I just received an email from someone who told me they are afraid of the fear of failure trap. In responding to the email I realised that my suggestion might be of interest to a few more people and perhaps those that are fearing failure. So I am posting my response here on the forum too.
There really is no such thing as failure everything is just a learning experience. First sentence is ok but if your mind is going blank why not take it as a cue... the answer isn't here. If you're not sure look in the index or content page (you cannot cheat that way because that's what they are there for.)
My best advise to you right now is just play with it. I watched my nephew (6 years old) ride his bike a couple of weeks back. He just got rid of the training wheels... he was having a great time riding round and round but sometimes he fell off the bike. He got up then checked he wasn't hurt dusted himself off and climbed back on went and on riding his bike again. Why? because he was having fun riding his bike! (It was great fun when it worked.) We didn't say anything when he fell off the bike, most of the time we didn't even notice until he was dusting himself off and climbing back on again.
Why not do the same thing he does with riding a bike for photoreading? You have a couple of advantages. 1. If you fall out of a book you won't scrape your knees 2. Nobodys watching. 3. Have fun, enjoy the thrill of what works when it works and when it doesn't it means you just hit a bump that's all. Go back to having fun with it.
