I used it a lot a few years back and it helped me get going with Lucid Dreaming. We even sold it for a while.

I liked it. As a matter of fact, I dusted mine off a few weeks ago.

Ok, this is something different, yet also quite interesting. What are the potential long term benefits to using this system, other than being able to start the coffeemaker with your head? Does it help connect the concious and subconcious mind?

Lucid Dreaming is far better than any primitive VR technology... Lucid Dreaming is an entire endoreality!!

The IBVA is something I want to keep my eye on. I may play with this toy when I actually can afford it ($1,000+). For now, it's NovaDreamer time!

When I was using the Nova Dreamer I would lucid dream on a regular basis. Now it is not very often at all. I'd like to lucid dream more, but it is not a priority.

But isn't most of the fun in dreaming not being able to control it and being swept up along with the events...

Actually, does anyone know how much time a night is spent (on average) in REM sleep?

I'm curious because i would like to know if it's possible to reduce my sleep time and yet still retain the quality of a good night's sleep by distilling the hours to just merely the time it takes for REM sleep and to cut out the padding.
