I would like to comment on a recent success that I have had with photoreading.
I have been struggling with photoreading for sometime, and almost gave up on it. Every so often I would come back and check on the discussion board, and see posts by AlexK, YoungPRER, and many others and it would inspire me again.
I did not give up on the process. I tried it again with a novel that I was trying to read for fun. I spent almost 2 hours or so in a department store trying the photoreading process and got through almost 150 pages, but something still did not feel right about it, and it took me a few more days to get back to the book.
The past few nights I have been trying the process again, and to see if I can finish it, and was still unsuccessful (only getting 100 pages further in the book).
It wasn't until I read the "looping the meat" of the Personal Genius and Memory Supercharger posts that I decided to try the experiment myself. I put the two files on my MP3 player and set it to repeat. (Two nights so later after trying the experiment on both nights).
I decided to give photoreading another shot on the book. After going through the Preview, Photoreading steps, I super read and dipped the rest of the book (250+) in less than 20 minutes.
Don't give up on this process, success could just be around the corner and might miss it if you don't keep trying.
