Hi, my wife and I watch the UK TV series "Midsommer Murders" and there are so many characters introduced in such a short period of time that I have started to write down their names and then a nick name so that I can remember them. Then I would try to link who knew who and what the relationship was.

The other week I decided to do it by Mind Mapping and it was much easier to understand and follow. It was as if a veil had been lifted from my eyes. I began to know the characters and their role within the story.

It was most enjoyable.

I know that for detective stories like Columbo it would not work because everybody already knows who the murderer is. The only question is "How does Columbo catch him / her out?"

It just shows how a complex set of inter-related data can be joined together in such a way that it is fun, enjoyable and understandable.

Have Fun,
Tom

Hi--

No, but I've tried that with the US series Law and Order and UK series "Spooks" in US though, renamed: MI-5

I had good results.
