Your question is quite silly to me. Why would you think you have a bad mind? Be positive and relax.

I think he meant people that have certain mental disorders such as murderers... even though it is arguable that they do have a mental disorder, but that's a topic for another forum .

Something that may indirectly answer, or at least put a light to the question, is about an example I saw somewhere , probably in the book, that somebody with a brain problem learnt to photoread and then helped diagnose or provide some insight into his condition to his doctors amazement, I'm pretty sure that's in the book somewhere, but only vaguely remember it so I could be completely wrong.

Oh, now I get what you mean. Answering to your question, I think it does partially. Learning to have positive goals and purpose of life can change attitude in life as well as learning to read.
Just my opinion.

PS: sorry guevara. I guess I was too tired when I replied the post.

Naturally it can. Being people however flawed we view their thinking and actions they can be influnced by the right person to review their values and change their thinking.

Priest often help those imprisoned for their misdeeds to have a personal turn around in their life. Others have found it in the right book.

Many would be villians have managed to turn their lives around before committing a serious crime. Whether influenced by one person or a book or a series of books.

One must remember books are written by people and most intend to inspire others to help save them some of the learning curve that they experienced in their own lives.

Alex.

Activation is in one way or another putting into action or having conscious comprehension of the information. If you don't some how activate you have no benefit and no real change.

Activation comes in many forms. With the system we go for manual activation, because it satisfies our need for conscious comprehension.

If I PhotoRead a book about Launching a Rocket to the Moon and I am not a Rocket Scientist and I have no interest in launching a rocket then I see no reason for me to use the information in any way shape or form. Unless I do manual activation the is no reason for my mind to give any time toward this information therefore it will not activate.

It gets filtered by my non conscious mind as serving no purpose along with the other millions of bits of information per second that my mind picks in every moment of my life.

If it isn't useful to you then in all probability, it won't activate on it's own.

Alex
