What would happen if you would look at a book with the look an artist uses. If you have read the "Drawing on the right side of the brain" book I think you know what I mean. Betty Edwards teaches drawing in the book where she explains that you must look at the world using the R-mode function of the brain, in this way you will be able to use the capabilites of the right brain.

My question is what would happen if I would gaze at the book in such a fashion? Would I photoread?

It's where Paul got the idea to look at the white of the letters and the pattern of white surrounding the the letters.

That's the imaginary X technique.
