Sono uno studente italiano all'ultimo anno di liceo con indirizzo perito informatico alle prese con la tesina e l'esame di stato.
Ho comparato il libro Phtoreading di Paul Scheele circa quattro mesi fà(a fine settembre del 2004) l' ho letto e ho messo in pratica tutto quello che c'era scritto ma ho un problema non riesco ad attivare il materiale che fotoleggo se qualcuno può aiutarmi o darmi qualche consiglio mi farebbe un piacere grazie

questo è un forum in inglese...non ti aiuteranno in molti se parli italiano..
Ci sono passato anch'io nella tua situazione: dover rivedere tutto per l'esame di stato..una vera fatica!
Il PR, come ogni abilità, richiede tanta pratica. Inoltre serve pazienza e uno spirito di rilassamento e di giocosità.
Continua a fare pratica di PR, seguendo tutto ciò che trovi scritto sul manuale e, soprattutto, facendoti domande, con curiosità, e stando rilassato mentre fotoleggi e attivi. Se ti *sembra* che non funzioni, non preoccuparti è solo questione di tempo e di pratica ;-)

I usually use PR on textbooks for my University studies..
Did you think it's right to speak aloud, after having photoread and activated?
I feel that if I don't rehearse aloud the material, than I do not be able to repeat the informations at the professor during the exam... Is this ok?

Io per attivare leggo le parole griletto, i titoli dei capitoli o dei paragrafi all'indice dei libri insomma faccio l' anteprima. Ad esempio ho fotoletto un piccolo dizionario d'inglese per migliorare il mio inglese ma non sò come verificarlo. E vorrei sapere quanto tempo minimo deve passare per ottenere risultati concretti. Io ho preso molto sul serio questo libro e ci conto davvero. E vorrei chiederti FILIPPO se verramente riesci ha leggere un libro in non piu di cinque o dieci minuti e se ti andava di raccontare il tuo approcio o la esperienza con PH.Grazie

Talking out loud is great method for studying especially for a person who understands by listening.

I always remind people to keep doing what worked for them when it came to studying. Especially in the beginning as they let their PhotoReading skills grow.

We PhotoRead a book in 5 to 10 minutes we then activate it to understand it. That usually takes 1/3 the time.

Now I'd like to offer a suggestions which I think is more important than anything else in this post. Learn to PhotoRead on a book that interest you. Not School textbooks. It's like learning to juggle while riding a bike at the same time. You mess up task both more than necessary. You stand still to learn to juggle. So learn the skill of PhotoReading first before you us it on textbooks.

The Dictionary; PhotoRead it every day for a week to a month.

X Mercuzio: come fai ad attivare un libro leggendo i titoli e facendo l'anteprima?!
Attivare vuol dire fare superlettura o lettura rapida!
2) Prendere seriamente il pr non è utile.. credici ma GIOCACI
3) Leggere un libro in 5 o 10 min come dici tu NON è possibile, per ora. Quella è la velocità con cui si FOTOlegge.
Ti consiglio di rileggere attentamente il libro, + volte se necessario

Mercuzio, forse il Tuo problema non è solo (o non è tanto) l'attivazione, ma lo scopo.
Per quella che è la mia ridottissima esperienza nel PR...lo scopo conta molto!
Non puoi aspettarti che l'attivazione sia una cosa passiva, che avviene solo leggendo e che avviene senza scopo.
Poniti uno scopo chiaro e preciso.
Poniti domande attive che sondino la mente.
Sii curioso.

Mercuzio, may be your problem is not only (or not that much) activation, but purpose. For my little experience in Pr...purpose is very important!
You cannot expect activationto be a passive issue, happening just reading, without any purpose.
Set a clear and precise purpose.
Set active question that mind-prob.
Be curious.
