Is the right channel supposed to be twice as loud as the left channel on the Activator CD? If so, why?

Normal on mine. It does have more emphasis on the right ear at one point because it goes specifically into the steps of PhotoReading.

By any chance can you change the balance on your equipment? If it's uncomfortable for you you can adjust it. Software on the computer and many home stereos allow you to put more power to one speaker or the other. To make up for the fact it may not be possible to place them so the listener is equal distance from both. This adjustment affects headphones as well.

Thanks Alex. So you're saying my CD is faulty?

Nope, Paul has got more emphasis on the right ear, especially when he recaps the steps and purpose of each step. So it intentional that's it's a bit stronger. You are still hearing everything said in the left ear.

Like I said if it bothers you then on many CD players you can adjust the balance. Up the left ear and turn the volume down. I wouldn't adjust it too much though.
