You say to activate the desired actions, i should imagine myself doing them in the situations needed.That's ok, but do i need really to imagine my timeline and to flow through the future and the past?Is imagining myself in the desired situations not enough for the activation?Is it enough just to sit back,relax and imagine myself presenting the desired actions?

Try it and see. If it soens't work the way you suggest go bavk to using the method known to work.
