Hi, i am a newbie to the photoreading system. i am now trying tu use it because i am really excited about the possibility of photoreading. My knowledge about it derives only from the photoreading book by scheele. i hope it is sufficient to be proficient in photoreading.
I have a question: i often read about comprehension test in multiple choice exercises, but can photoreading be used with generic question? i mean, the question is "what is the expression of marx's thought in his book on the comunism?" can a photoreader answer to this kind of question, writing or orally? can make a discourse about a book he has read on his own without having any question?
thank you so much

It works for me to have a question like that at the outset. I find that as I begin to activate, more specific questions arise and become answered.

You can frame any type of question you want using PR. It can be a general question or a specific one. The advantage of multiple choice is that you can use the question to activate the reading since PR uses recognition to guide you. But if your not in school, it's not really practical unless the book contains multiple choice questions. If your book has multiple choice questions, then read the questions first to guide you. Schools have it backwards. Otherwise just write down your questions before you start.

The answer is you only need to activate the book with questions like that on mind.

Learn the system first on books not related to school.

Yes of course you can use it for oral exams. Like I said you activate the book.

Purpose! That's how you activate a book. Have a purpose.

Manual activation involves going into the book to extract key terms and to come up with motivating questions. You know because you look at the book!

I really think that doing the course would be the best way to learn PR but i will however work seriously to obtain this so-useful ability
