Which of the states are you referring to>

Ideal State
Accelerated Learning State
or the PhotoReading state itself?

The Ideal State, good for all reading and writing situations as well as sport. A trigger for something close to the flow state. Is the Tangerine technique. It requires nothing more than a little imagination and a pat on the heat.

We not so much a pat. However do touch the top back part of the head. Notice the feeling that you have there and then use your imagination. Have a tangerine touching there. Or imagine it floating above and behind your head.

That's all there is to it.
