If you are left handed should you turn the headphones the other way round.

No, you should wear your headphones with the right ear on the right side and the left on the left side. Whether you are right-handed or left-handed you'll get the most benefit from your tapes listening this way.

Enjoy!

Whether you are right or left-handed the functions for each side of your brain remain the same. Of course for mental productivity, we left-handers may be outnumbered, but chances are we're the most noticed.

Wait a minute, that sounds too ambiguous.... Okay then, I guess it's time for some circular reasoning.

"You shouldn't do circular reasoning because you're just saying the same thing over and over. And you must be saying the same thing over and over, because that's what circular reasoning is. Now if you want to go ahead and use circular reasoning that's fine, but remember that you're saying the same thing over and over again."

I think I heard Paul Scheele reccommend that you should change the position of the headphones once and a while (left-left & right-right, then left-right & right-left). Actualy, I'm left handed and left brain dominant in my thinking, so you never know. The old assumptions don't always work!
Check out Brain Works (can't remmenber the url), they've got a nice little program that'll evaluate your brain dominance.

I spoke to Paul Scheele on this subject. He said, as mentioned in earlier posts, that being left or right handed does not automatically translate to switched hemispheric dominance. He also suggested, for anyone wondering about reversing the headphones, listening for a day or two with the headphones in a normal postion. Then, try reversing them for a time and see, based on your experience, and things like comfort level or perceived emotional depth, what feels best.
