ALl day today I have had a sort of cold burning spot on the back of my calf on my right leg. Has anyone else experienced this or know what it might mean? I have only been practicing SFQ for a few days.

I would like an answer to this as well. This weekend I have experienced ice cold spots in the lower back kidney area. I was attributing this to some kind of healing process going on but am not sure. When I but my hands on it, the contrast in temperature was incredible. I applied healing for sometime before I felt a more balanced feeling in the temperature difference.

Ooops a blending of two response is a no, no soory for the confusion.

I had hoped someone would have responded to this by now, so I guess I’ll give you my 2 cents on this. Perhaps this will stimulate other responses. I have found that with cold there is some kind of healing needed or healing being done. In your case it could be a healing or channel being worked on. The work you do at the time you do it does not necessarily end at that moment.

If the problem was significant enough I might apply a little massage to that point and send energy to help balance it. When sensing the energy field of someone if there is a cold spot in contrast to the rest of the area then I would send energy and or remove the block and energetically fill the whole so to speak. I suspect that this is something covered in the other levels of qigong courses. Perhaps someone with more experience in the higher levels can elaborate on my back issue and the cold spot on the calf? Anyone? Bueler ?

Ok I'm breathing new life into this old thread. I still think it is a good question which warrants some feed back. Sorry if I'm coming across pushy but I am curios. If no one has an answer to this thread then how about a suggestion as to where one might be able to find the answer?

I don't have the knowledge, but since you solicited a where to look reply.

Look within. That's my new reference center, when I'm not using the forum.

Ask and release your question, then bserve and interpret the answer you get. I wish I had more time for meditation.

Sending love,
Iam2

Aloha elessadil,

As the folks from Landmark Education would say, we're such meaning making machines.

Your doing well.

You've been practicing SFQ for a couple days, the sensations you feel/see may vary as channels are opening up.

If you want a meaning, you can go into the emptiness and ask. Chunyi would say to continue with the active exercises and the two guided meditations.

If you have the level two course you can also detect blockages within yourself and clear the channels that way.

Much Love, Shawn
