Yes it is fine. The eye-lid is part of your skin and lung system. I have a very strong connection with breathing the small universe so I would spend more time with this meditation.
Remember to start all your meditations with a request. In this case something like "I ask your energy blend with me and make mine purer. I ask that my channels be completely opened and that my skin returns to a completely healthy condition". I would visualize the skin quality of a young child as being that of my skin. Then I would release it and trust in the universe to help me and do my meditations.
