I've been using spring forest to try and alleviate my short-sightedness but so far have not had much success (or at least not much noticable difference, though after I have used sword fingers on myself etc., there is a subtle feeling of pressure). I believe that Qigong can help but I think I need more guidance.
Should I continue using my glasses while I use SF?
Does it take time?
Has anyone else managed to rid themselves of this problem and can they tell me of their experience?
Please post even if you just want to express an opinion.

Thanks
Mike

Aloha Trickster,

Are you following Chunyi's suggestions from the level II course?

Aloha Mr. Grim
Yeah I am, I'm slightly shortsighted and have been opening c7, then all three points of the head before doing the inside of the eyes (near the tear duct) to open them up, then imagining the full moon as I use sword fingers then when I feel a change (like a pressure in my eye - I tend to do it with my eyes closed) and complete the full moon I put energy back into my eyes etc and then follow the last part ofputting energy by rubbing hands.
Is any of this wrong or would you suggest that I keep up with the practice until feel more of the change?
Mike

Aloha Trickster,

Sounds spot on. Chunyi will go into some traditional Chinese eye massage points during some classes and add a "My liver is clear, my eyes are sharp" statement while palming the eyes after rubiing the hands warm.

The active exercise wonderfull help heal the supporting organs, while the Harvesting of Qi opens and relaxes various structures support systems of the eyes also. This along with rest, relaxation, and good nutritian is a good start toward better eyesight.

Chunyi has also mentioned cupping the base of your head lightly can help too.

Much Love, Shawn

Aloha Shawn,
So doing these along with the active meditation and continuing with what I have been doing already will solve the problem.
I take it it will take a bit more time yeah?

Much love
Mike

Aloha Trickster,

Chunyi has had a lot of good success helping people with their eyesight.

It can help. I can't however, tell you what will happen and by when.

Much Love, Shawn
