Hello group,

I don't know exactly how to say this except to just ask for your advice and help. My friend, Lee, in Colorado Springs began loosing strength in her hand and arm this past May and since that time has become paralyzed in the left arm. But even more frightening is that the weakness has now spread to her other arm, legs, one side of her face, eye and throat. She's fallen several times because her legs give out suddenly -- too weak to hold her up.
Up until this problem she has been very healthy with no serious physical problems.

The specialists/neurologists have done batteries of tests but can't find out what is wrong nor how to help her. If she doesn't get some help very soon she could become totally parayzed and possibly unable to even breath on her own.

She doesn't believe in Qigong and most likely wouldn't be able to talk with Chunyi Lin even if she believed in this. My question is, how can I (or qigong through Chyunyi Lin) help her or am I being too naive about Qigong being able to cure her? I can't call Chunyi Lin on her behalf because my hearing isn't good enough to work over the phone. Does anyone have any advice that would help in Lee's situation? I am so worried about my friend.

Thanks for any help you can suggest,
Lynn-Marie

Lynn-marie, I am so sorry to hear of the situation with your friend Lee. Good for you for being such a friend to her, and trying to help her any way you can. I think you did the right thing in putting her on the healing list right away.

I do not think you are "being too naive" in thinking that qigong can help. I've heard many wonderful stories of miracles happening when folks send healing energy this way. I'd say, keep putting her on the list each week. She does not have to believe in it in order for it to work.

Does she believe in the power of prayer? I certainly do. Perhaps in addition to putting her on this healing list, you could ask if she wants people to pray for her. It seems to me that the more avenues you try, the greater chance there is for a perfect recovery.

Hang in there. We are pulling for you in your efforts to get healing for your friend Lee.

Anita

Thank you for your kind words, Anita. I can't tell you how much they meant to me when I read your response.

Yes, she's on our prayer list at church also. We're still hoping that her doctors will find out what is causing the paralysis in order to help her. I am also hoping that "our" Qigong community's healing-work on each Saturday will bring healing to Lee as well.

Many thanks again,
Lynn-marie

Hi Lynn-Marie. Has anyone tested the possibility that it could be something as simple as a pinched nerve? My arm was asleep all week & I was starting to feel it other places in my body - my husband gave me a massage yesterday & VOILA!!!!!!! found a very painful spot just under my neck on my back - there was even a little hump - he worked & worked on it - went very deep (even though it hurt) & my arm has almost totally "woken up".
Hope this can help. . .
Patti
