Alex,

I received Genius Code yesterday and have read from another book that Freenoting can allow you to learn faster .....I believe you're familiar with what freenoting is, but if not, it's writing down your thoughts on the subject at hand while the lecture, book, audio is playing in the background.

So I thought I could play the Genius Code CDs initially while I was doing other research. Later I will go back and give the CDs a more thorough listen, but I figured that the first pass through the CDs could be similar to Photoreading a book....absorbing it subliminally/subconsciously. Then when I go back and re-listen more closely, this would be some form of activation.

Would you agree with this idea?

It would work for some though not everyone. Some people are quickly bored when they listen to something they already heard again. Others will be distracted with this in the background because it contains new information you are likely to stop and listen.

Know your learning style. So what works for you.

Alex
