Vita-man
I've just had a revelation from you. We have very different maps of what we think of self-love.
In my map:
I thought you were criticizing me telling me I love myself already and don't need to work on it, as if self-love is something to be ashamed of. I do think I can't be proud of loving myself.
In your map:
You honour self-love. You were congratulating me on my efforts to love myself.
The difference: I feel that self-love is something to be ashamed of, and you feel it is something to be proud of. A Meta-State of pride for self-love, that must feel quite different to what I experience. I was trying to defend myself saying that I don't love myself much, trying to appear correct in what I thought was your view(that you were criticizing me for loving myself too much). I always thought that self-love must be something to play down, and not to mention in polite company.
Vita-man this is an absolute revelation: Why should I feel ashamed of loving myself? Why shouldn't I feel pride at loving myself? That would totally empower me!!!
The next step for me then is to integrate the Meta-State being proud of loving myself.
Thanks Vita-man! You're part of a miracle right now!
