G'day... it 12 30pm here... had a busy morning up since 7am

Glad to have been of some help Michael. I am honoured to have my thoughts recorded in your journal.

Kaiden - I agree with your perception.

Now I have some questions.

Have you considered what one is e saying when when we refer to "our/the high/er 'self'"?

We think of the 'self' in terms of being seperate from us ... something we are trying to reach or be... Aren't we really the higher self we refer to - pretending we are not? Choosing to ignore our own wisedom in search for the wise one external to us? Do we not... when we find a wise teacher who says "look within" - continue to doubt and after a while we start seeking a new 'wiser' teacher?

Why do we choose to believe we are less than our higher self already?

Alex

In the Huna system, there are three entities that make up the self. It's a bit like Egyptian mysticism, where the Ka is not the Ba. The "Low Self" is your instincts, involuntary muscles, memories and imagination. The "Middle Self" is your reason and direction. The "High Self" is harder to understand, but it's your most enlightened state of being. I believe it is essentially the same as "your highest good" as mentioned in the Personal Celebration series. Most Huna seems to assume that a person's identity is grounded in their middle self.

One thing I need to re-do, that I stumbled upon more as an occultist than as a NLPerson, is a combination of Deep Trance Identification and Modling, where you assume the qualities you want via a "merging" with something greater than yourself. If you've ever watched Deep Space 9, think of Dax. In order to do that, though, you have to be willing to let go of your self-identity.

My point is.. its all you .... it's all one and the same self.

Why is it we seperate it from us? Hi self, low self, conscious self, unconscious self, instinctive self, intuitive self.

even animals have those parts... why do we as humans separate ourselves from them ... acting as if they are qualities we must master or get rid of when they are already a part of us?

We are so busy taking ourselves apart wondering what wrong with us.. we never seem to get the idea that maybe we don't need fixing. Maybe we are just fine the way we are and if we stopped trying to fix stuff our lives would flow... we might even be able to apprieciate our differences like we accept snow on a mountain top or dolphins folicking in the waves.

We might be more like the dolphins enjoying the waves They don't worry about their lack of skills skiing in the snow.

To you, Kaiden, and to all the other peeps here:

YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE.

WHAT YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?

DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO DO

everything else is just mental masturbation.

I'd like to see everybody's game plans.

Mine is to sell 20 cars a month, since I just started working at a car dealership.

I'm going to avoid sales at all cost, as I hate sales and can't stand the personalities of salesmen.

THAT'S what I'm going to do about it.
