This may or may not be the right place to suggest this, but anyway. I've watched the forums for a while now, and I know that when someone asks a common question that has been answered in a previous post/s they may be directed to do a search. This seems kind of pointless if you keep saying this as users may not know exactly what to look for.
I suggest that you could make a web page of FAQ's or make groups of links to helpful conversations about common topics. Maybe even a list of helpful searchs for common topics.
Now I'm not bashing the help given on the forum because it is very good, I just thought this may be a good idea. Please forgive if there is already a page like this.
