Can you use SFQuiGong to promote learning and memory? If so, what exercises / meditations are best?

According to Master Lin, all of them are good for learning because they serve to balance your energies.

Two specific exercises to do are Moving of Yin and Yang and Breathing of the Universe.

Try one of these for 5-10 minutes before a study session and notice what happens.

I find it extremely difficult to relax sufficiently to use QiGong in 5-15 minute spurts. While I've never been diagnosed with ADD, I certainly exhibit some of the teltale signs of that peculiar dissorder. I can't even enjoy a good movie without doing at least three other things simultaneously - or risk falling asleep.

One thing I have noticed though, is that QiGong seems to be one heck-of-a-lot easier to practive at the prescribed hours, especialy at midnight. Would it still be beneficial if I did those excersizes before bed?

I, too, find it easier to do Qigong practice during the prescribed hours. When I am in a group, however, any time is just as easy. It's got to be the group energy.

Sure, doing those exercises before bed would still be beneficial.

An advantage of doing them just before studying is that you open the energy channels making it easier for the brain/body to do its thing. Maybe try two minutes worth of exercise and see if that helps. I'm sure it would, and I think you would then find it easier to creep up to three minutes, then five minutes...
