It will be great in the summer because our days are so long and it is a good time to get out of the sun.

Thanks again Shawn.

Hi Shawn

Does your wife think that the C7 area is particularly susceptible to invasion of cold? This would certainly fit with my personal experince where I often feel that I want to make sure that my neck is covered and protected from draughts. I notice also that C7 is the first place you remove blockages from during level 2 healing. C7 is seeming to be a much more important area than I'd realised and I wondered if you have anything more to say about it. It's now seeming to me like an important chakra or do I have that wrong?

Aloha kev5,

For the same reason Chunyi would say to do your Qigong into the wind, rather having it at your back, Darcie recommends not letting C7, the tummy, lower back, and feet chill during and right after deep mediation/active exercises.

It's also similar to Chunyi talking about no deep meditation in water at this level.

You hear Chunyi talk about C7 in the Level II course as being the "key" to opening the upper part of the body. check out the section on the head.

Much Love, Shawn
