I was told by a friend that Direct Learning is a good strategy for activation. I have the 3rd addition of the PhotoReading book (as well as an older version of the home study course) and noticed that it briefly mentions Direct Learning.

Is Direct Learning a good technique and would I learn enough about it from the Natural Brilliance book(I just ordered it from my bookstore)?

Direct Learning grew out of PhotoReaders who were learning skills and behaviors from PhotoReading books.

Between the section in the third edition of the PhotoReading book and the entire Natural Brilliance book you will know enough to use the strategy yourself.
