Thanks for your suggestion Alex, but I don't have Skype capabilities, and what is VOIP?

Thanks!

Voip is similar to Skype. Using the computer for telephone communication. Most computers these days are capable of it along with live chat. You don't have to use video. You can chat via text in real time.

One way I was coaching and connecting with people around the world with PhotoReading Messenger. It was amazing how much ground we covered simply by connecting live over the computer using keyboard chat. Chat rooms would be an option. If you have a bit of know how. Mostly I found messenger enough. These days I use Skype messenger. I prefer not to use voice chat since it allows me to multitask. I was running 4 or 5 personal chats at a time focusing on individual inquiries. It also allowed me to be available when I was online and they could connect with me if they found me there.

Now most have moved to Facebook and chat there however I draw a line between work and personal. When I'm on Facebook I consider it personal time and don't avail myself for coaching there. And I only accept new friends if they had the politeness to introduce themselves by emailing me first.

Do keep an eye on the Learning Strategies Blog and Facebook page. That can lead to finding like minded people.

I found that the most accessible way to connect.

Alex
