I am just starting out learning to see the auras and energy fields. I'm able to do the soft gazing pretty well, but the moment I see the "glowing" around my hand or anything else for that matter, my excitement causes me to lose it.

Is there a way to overcome this excitement? Or will seeing auras and energy eventually become less thrilling and/or more second nature?

thanks for your input

The best way to overcome it is keep doing it. The disappointment of losing it when you get excited will wear off quickly and you find yourself moving to, okay this is cool, to okay this is normal now what else can I see?

In all the energy work I do, the wonder of it constantly amazes me. There's such a beauty and depth to our existence here that I could live to be 120 and still be amazed at what transpires.

Thank you, Alex, for your comment.
