I am wondering if this type of headboard represents poison arrows? Or perhaps even a rift between the couple sleeping in the bed? Marie mentioned that slatted headboards are bad because they "cut" through. But, these ladyfinger-like shapes seem very round and cozy. [Linked Image from cdn.1stopbedrooms.com]

Hi Empressgranger!

With "poison arrows" it's generally something with a sharp corner, cutting edge or points that you need to look out for. Something rounded would not have the cutting effect that a slatted headbord with right angles would.

All the best!

Thank you so much Wendy for the clarification. I even did some muscle testing thinking about this bed and it came back all good! Looks cozy to me. smile
