Keep at it. Although the 89% may be the bit that you find boring, it may well be that it is indeed boring and not relevant to your particular needs - you need to have a purpose for activating the material you have just photoread - if you do not have a particular purpose then sure it will seem boring.
Have you had a look at some of the archive material ? I seem to remember some pointers - I'll see if I can give you some ideas but 'till then just keep trying .
