If you understand pseudo-orientation in time, you have basically got the gist of direct learning.

It is, essentially, condensed in the language pattern which goes something like:

"What would it be like, when you have made all the changes you want in the future, now, as you look back at what you had done to get you where you are now with your desires fulfilled ... how does that feel as you experience that? Pretty good, isn't it?"

It's pretty much hallucinating that your goal is met, stepping into that experience placed somewhere in your future, and then looking back on what you had done to get you to that point.

That is ... as far as I (mis?)understand the technique ...
