I don't activate everything.I think it's still beneficial to photoread things, that you don't intend to activate straight away, if ever.
However, with the books that I want to get more consciously from, I activate those.
I activate to fulfill my purpose.
If I just want a general overview, then I'll just superread and dip once, or twice maybe.
For the books that I need to know a lot about, I'll superread, dip, and rapid read, where I see fit.
It's all about layering.The more I want from a book, the more layers/passes through the material I will make.
