I'm wondering if there's any approach to photoreading that can be used for one to train their ingenuity in solving math problems. This is already assuming that the person has a deep understanding of the relevant theories and and apply them to "textbook problems". Now take it a notch further to solving mathematical problems where the answer or even the best approach isn't quite obvious.

It's kind of hard to describe in words but you'll know if you ever remember being asked to solve some ugly looking integral on an exam (and hopefully the necessary "trick" popped right into your inner mind.) That's an idea of the sort of thing I'm talking about. Acquiring the necessary knowledge to solve such problems can be done thru photoreading but any ideas how one can develop this sort of "puzzle-solving" skill in mathematics?
