Don't be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality. If you can dream it, you can make it so." - Belva Davis

"A light heart lives long." - Shakespeare

While meditating at the recent Spring Forest QiGong Retreat, a Panda suddenly appeared and said: "I'm hungry." Master Lin was so happy to see the Panda because, when this animal appears during a meditation, it is an awespicious sign of good luck. He then had one of his best students take the Panda a delicious meal of bamboo and fresh green leaves. The Panda gobbled it up and thanked the student.

All seemed normal until the Panda pulled out a gun from the depths of his fur, pulled the trigger and BANG! shot the student in his left arm.

Master Lin rushed over and said: "Argh!! You just shot my friend!!!" The Panda calmly replied: "Do you know what I am?"

"Of Course I do," Master Lin answered, "you're a Panda!"

"Good," the Panda replied, "now go home and look me up in the dictionary." And with that, the Panda disappeared into the emptiness.

Master Lin and the student looked at each other and were a little unsure, but they were very eager to be enlightened, so he went home to find his dictionary and after a while he found 'panda' and quickly read the definition...

PANDA: 1. A black and white bear native to China. Eats shoots and leaves.
