I can't imagine listening to myself saying the two "scripts" - I think it would distract me to no end.
I greatly enjoy being read to by Paul -
partly, I suppose, because I do not like the sound of my own voice on tape. I can hardly stand recording Sweet Adeline rehersals for that reason - although others say I'm okay.
I find that the tapes are quite effective the way they are. Ifn it ain't broke, don't fix it.
