I live in a house that is in the Craftsman style. As a result, there are a lot of wood elements in my house. The floors are all wood (except the kitchen), I have crown molding (painted white) and 4-inch base boards (which are not painted), most of my furniture is wood, the fireplace surround is wood (painted a sort of chocolate red) in the south, and there are elaborate wood casings around all of the windows. My fortune element is wood. Because my rooms are small most of my rooms are painted white and the curtains are white. Reducing the wood element in my house is a challenge. Painting is not an option. Any suggestions?
