The front door faces East, the front of the house faces East. I am less than 1/4 mile away from Lake Erie, which is North. I don't want to necessarily get rid of the wood. I just thought that this element might be over-represented in my home and that it might cause problems. If not, that's great. I'm still experiementing and trying to figure out how things work.
